Blue Tokai has consistently stood out as one of India’s leading specialty coffee producers. In fact, as anyone who visits the aptly named About Me section of my website would know, it was among the very first specialty coffees I ever ordered and brewed for myself. The quality of their coffee, the freshness of their beans, and the remarkable consistency with which they deliver to the end consumer are, in my experience, hard to match. There’s always a sense of occasion when a Blue Tokai order arrives at my doorstep. A bag of coffee bearing my name, roasted specifically for me, and delivered within just a couple of days of placing the order. How could that not feel special? Blue Tokai clearly understands that the moment a customer’s name appears on a product, it ceases to be just another bag of coffee. It becomes their coffee. Perhaps unknowingly, Blue Tokai creates a powerful psychological association between the customer and the product, one that sets it apart from even an equally good coffee sourced elsewhere. And that, as much as the beans themselves, is what makes the experience memorable.

My Honest Review
I am genuinely amazed by the taste of this coffee blend. Nothing else I have tried from Blue Tokai comes close to the level of character and nuance this one delivers. I enjoyed it the most as a straight espresso, where the coffee truly shines. The flavours on the palate are incredibly vibrant and expressive, unlike anything I have experienced before.
While sipping the espresso, I was instantly reminded of fresh strawberries and fruit juice. Even after finishing the cup, my mouth continued to salivate, almost as if I had just taken a bite of a sweet and slightly sour strawberry. The aftertaste lingered beautifully and left a lasting impression.
The V60 brew was equally delicious, though in a very different way. It softened and toned down the intensely juicy, sweet and sour characteristics that stood out so prominently in the espresso. What it offered instead was a smooth, balanced and highly approachable cup. For someone just beginning their journey into specialty coffee, this would be an excellent and enjoyable introduction.
All things considered, this is easily one of the best coffee beans available right now, especially for those who love fruit juice like extractions. If you have an espresso machine at home and the means to try it, I would strongly recommend doing so before it runs out.
